James has over 20 years of experience in, health, safety and workers’ compensation management. James graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a MS in Human Resources and Labor Relations. He has also earned a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Management Institute. As a safety, worker compensation and human resource professional James has worked in both the service and manufacturing sectors, successfully implementing loss control & productivity enhancement strategies before forming OCSS. Having worked in both sides of the business world, he is keenly aware of the specific needs and goals various organizations have. As Vice President of OccuCare, James offers organizations solutions for reducing on the job injuries, increasing productivity and reducing disability costs, all of which impact the bottom line.

Jim has dedicated his career to developing comprehensive industrial rehab programming that returns an injured worker to work as soon as possible and providing organizations with injury cost reduction services that positively influence their bottom line. His background in Occupational Therapy and Industrial Engineering provides a perfect fit to prevent work related injuries through engineering controls and rehabilitate workers following an injury. Jim is a board certified ergonomist and has been awarded this certification through the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics. Jim’s extensive experience in the field of industrial ergonomics includes providing consulting within manufacturing and office environments nationwide while developing and implementing comprehensive ergonomic initiatives for large and small employers. Jim is also the lead developer of OccuCare’s Online Assessment Application which includes the fastest and most comprehensive suite of web based industrial rehabilitation tools on the market today.
