River Parishes Hospital Trains its second specialist
OccuCare Systems and Solutions recently completed their Comprehensive Industrial Rehab Training continuing education course just outside New Orleans, Louisiana. One of the many hospitals across the country that use OccuCare's Online Assessment Application is in LaPlace, Louisiana and sent their second therapist to this training program.
River Parishes Hospital in LaPlace, LA sent Kim Laszczak, PTA to the course outside New Orleans. Ryan Andrews, Director of Rehab Services at River Parishes reported that after only a couple of months they have already begun working with local employers and providing higher level industrial rehab services on their worker's compensation patients and wanted to send a second therapist to training.
Following the training program Kim reported "The most beneficial aspect of training was the case study's and using the software". She also reported "The presenter kept the 4 days very interesting and provided detailed program information".
