Wisconsin Rapids Therapy Pracitce Implements OccuCare Software
OccuCare Systems and Solutions' is proud to announce the recent implementation of their comprehensive suite if industrial rehab software into one of Wisconsin's most progressive rehabilitation clinics. OccuCare recently completed their Comprehensive Industrial Rehab Training/Online Assessment Application training course in Stevens Point, WI and Roberts & Associates Physical Therapy participated in this course and implemented OccuCare's software..
Brett Robert's, MPT, owner of Robert's and Associates Physical Therapy spoke with other private practice owners in Wisconsin who use OccuCare's software and he received very positive feedback in regards to its use within these other practices. Even with experience with other FCE testing approaches he like the fact the OccuCare's training and software helps practicies put in a full approach to industrial rehab in is not just an FCE system.
Following the 4 day Comprehensive Industrial Rehab Training course Mr. Roberts reported "the most beneficial aspects of this course was going on-site at a company and actually performing a job analysis, the multiple handouts and actually using the software throughout training."

The main aspect of OccuCare's innovative approach to industrial rehab include the implementation of their proprietary Functional Progress Notes and Functional Discharge Summaries. Functional Progress Notes TM and Functional Discharge Summaries TM are functional re-assessments that are performed during outpatient therapy. Unlike an FCE that tests a persons entire body, these functional re-assessments test the injured joint to help determine if the injured joint is ready to return to full duty work. These functional re-assessments do not require a Dr's order, do not require insurance approval, and usually are a 50% to 100% higher charge ticket as compared to a standard treatment session charge ticket.
The methodologies OccuCare teaches clinics throughout the United States include implementing a full approach to industrial rehab from initial outpatient eval all the way to return to work.
